Bumblebee

Intentionally bred by Joe Sharman using x plicatus Trym in the early 2010s; the flower shape is slightly more rounded than the usual x plicatus Trym offspring. A really outstanding snowdrop with beautiful, dark green marks on the outer segments and solid green inners. Of all the single-marked inverse poculiform G. plicatus, ‘Bumblebee’ stands out as one of the very best with arguably the heaviest outer segment marking. This and the rounded flowers inspired the name. Flowers early - mid season.
